The biggest event this summer will be the 2026 FIFA World Cup. From June 11th to July 19th, 48 teams divided into 12 groups of four, will battle to win the trophy. This year the competition will be held in Canada, United States and Mexico. Fans of Football all over the world will be delighted to see their idols in action. All the big names will be present. Two of the most polarized of all times are expected once again: Messi, with the Argentina squad in an effort to repeat the glory of 2022 and Christiano Ronaldo who will try to make a good impact with the Portugal team. It will definitely be the last dance for both of them!

The Groupe Stage will feature 12 Groups of 4 Teams each. Every Team will play 3 matches against the other Teams of its group. The top two teams from each group qualify directly, along with the eight best third-place teams, making up a total of 32 teams for the knockout stage.
Points will be distributed in the standard manner (W=3, D=1, L=0). If teams are level on points, the tiebreakers will be applied in this order: head-to-head points, head-to-head goal difference, head-to-head goals scored, overall goal difference, overall goals scored, fair play score, and FIFA ranking. In the Knockout stage, the matches will be followed by 30 minutes of extra time it tied at the end of the 90 minutes. If still tied, there will be a penalty shootout.
Host Countries and Cities
The 2026 World Cup will be the first to be co-hosted by three countries: the United States, Canada and Mexico. The games will be played in 16 cities with the final at MetLife Stadium in New-Jersey
United States: Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, New York/New Jersey, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Dallas, Philadelphia, Kansas City and Boston.
Mexico: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Monterrey.
Canada: Toronto, Vancouver.

New-York/ New-Jersey area is expected to generate roughly $3.3 billion in revenue on match days, this includes an anticipated $1.7 billion from attendee spending and $1.3 billion in labor income, along with the creation of over 25,000 jobs in these areas.
